WHAT: The Spring 2015 Senator Christopher S. “Kit” Bond Lecture Series event will be hosted by the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri.
This year’s distinguished lecturer is Vice Admiral Mike McConnell, U.S. Navy (Ret.), who served two presidents as the director of national intelligence and as the director of the National Security Agency. McConnell has repeatedly voiced concerns over the cyber-war, our nation’s vulnerabilities, and how we need to confront our enemies and is noted for stating, “…the U.S. is fighting a cyber-war and we are losing.”
The Christopher S. “Kit” Bond Lecture Series provides a forum for national and international experts to explore issues of contemporary significance, including economics, politics, science and global security.
