MEDIA ADVISORY: “Weird Animals, Sex and the Future of Men” to be Discussed at MU Saturday Morning Science Lecture

WHAT: This week’s Saturday Morning Science discussion at the University of Missouri features Jenny Graves, who will discuss “Weird Animals, Sex and the Future of Men.”

Graves’ talk will focus on the Y chromosome, how it functions and what it means to our world. While two X chromosomes constitute a female, an X and a Y chromosome paired together create a male. Graves will focus on the chromosome that makes men male and what would happen if it disappeared.

Saturday Morning Science is a weekly series of lectures on scientific topics. No science background is required to attend – just an interest in science and the topic.
