WHAT: Who decides what is and is not an invention? This week’s Saturday Morning Science discussion at the University of Missouri features Mario Biagioli, a distinguished professor from the University of California – Davis, who will discuss inventions and the legal fallout of the software boom.

Biagioli will discuss why people are redefining the word “invention” to include immaterial things, such as software, and the consequences of this change.
