MEDIA ADVISORY: MU “Cosmic Conversations” Continues with History of NASA Projects

WHAT: The University of Missouri’s “Cosmic Conversations” continues this semester with a discussion from
Craig Kluever, a professor of mechanical and aeronautical engineering, on a history of NASA projects.

The University of Missouri Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Science and the Central Missouri Astronomical Association host an annual lecture series, “Cosmic  Conversations.”

Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Laws Observatory, an observatory deck on the fifth floor of the physics building, will be open after each lecture to view the stars.

WHEN: 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5

Observatory hours: 8 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday
