MEDIA ADVISORY: MU’s “Cosmic Conversations” Continue with Mystery of the “Elusive Neutrino”

WHAT: Could there be something faster than the speed of light? During the next installment of the University of Missouri’s “Cosmic Conversations,” Sean Baldridge, a graduate student in the physics and astronomy program at MU, will discuss how recent experiments have suggested that neutrinos are faster than the speed of light.

The University of Missouri Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Science and the Central Missouri Astronomical Association host the annual lecture series, “Cosmic Conversations.”

Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Laws Observatory, an observatory deck on the fifth floor of the physics building, will be open after each lecture to view the stars.
