WHAT: Joe Henrich, professor of psychology and economics at the University of British Columbia, will discuss his research into how the human species’ reliance on passing knowledge among generations has shaped our mental and physical abilities, social structures and internal organ size. A question and answer session will follow his presentation.
The event is sponsored by the Chancellor’s Distinguished Visitor Fund, McQuinn Endowment, College of Arts and Science, Florence G. Kline Endowment in Philosophy, Department of Psychological Sciences, Department of Anthropology and the Evolutionary Studies Group.
