MEDIA ADVISORY: Effects of Climate Change on the United States to be Discussed at MU’s “Cosmic Conversations”

WHAT: University of Missouri Associate Professor of Geography Mike Urban will lead a discussion of climate change and the effects it will have on the United States at the next session of Cosmic conversations.

The MU Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Science and the Central Missouri Astronomical Association host the monthly lecture series.

Lectures take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Laws Observatory, an observatory deck on the fifth floor of the physics building, will be open after each lecture to view the stars.
