WHAT: The Mizzou Alumni Association invites the Columbia community to participate in the 102nd Homecoming celebration. This year’s theme, “The Black and Gold Standard,” indicates Mizzou’s efforts to continuously set new goals for the university and create standards of excellence for all students.

Homecoming celebration activities kicked off last week, when more than 300 MU students and alumni participated in a day of service. During the four-day Mizzou Blood Drive, MU students set a new Mizzou Homecoming record by collecting 6,237 units of blood. Traditional Homecoming activities for this weekend include Campus Decorations, a Mizzou Spirit Rally with Marching Mizzou and MU Spirit Squads, a concert featuring national performing artist “Youngblood Hawke”, and the 102nd anniversary Homecoming Parade.
