MEDIA ADVISORY: Bond Life Sciences Center’s ‘Science Café’ Starts Science Conversation with General Public

WHAT: Science Café Columbia continues to inspire informal, relaxed conversations about popular science with this month’s topic, “The Thoughts of Plants.” Jack Schultz, director of the Bond Life Sciences Center at the University of Missouri, will hold a conversation about the sensory perception of plants and the concept of plant “intelligence.”

Science Café Columbia is a program that fosters two-way conversations between scientists and the general public, who may not typically engage in conversations about science. The program is sponsored by the Bond Life Sciences Center.
