MEDIA ADVISORY: Weather experts featured at ‘Science Night at Jefferson Farm and Garden’

WHAT:

Weather experts from the University of Missouri’s atmospheric science program will gather for an educational roundtable discussion about weather and the climate, and will also take questions from the audience.

Before the roundtable, there will be a weather balloon launch from the Missouri Mobile Meteorological Observatory, a former ambulance converted into a weather vehicle by the atmospheric science program. The Butterfly House and other educational displays at Jefferson Farm and Garden will also be open throughout the event.

NOTE: This event is free and open to the public. MU’s atmospheric science program is located in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.
