MEDIA ADVISORY: Fans Encouraged to Wear Black and Gold to Support MU

WHAT: MU fans everywhere are invited to wear black and gold to support the University of Missouri for the sixth annual College Colors Day. College Colors Day promotes MU’s traditions and spirit. Fans are encouraged to don Mizzou gear and plan a “black and gold” event, such as an office tailgate lunch or best-dressed fan contest. College Colors Day coincides with the start of the fall semester and the kick-off of MU intercollegiate athletics activities.

College Colors Day is an annual national celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that make the college experience great by encouraging people across America to wear apparel of their favorite college or university throughout the day.
