COLUMBIA, Mo. –Incoming visitors traveling on U.S. 63 to Columbia for University of Missouri commencement ceremonies this weekend may experience traffic delays as northbound traffic between the Grindstone and Stadium exits will be limited to one lane.

“Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) officials called us to express concern that parents and others driving north on U.S. 63 into Columbia may experience delays,” said Brenda Selman, MU registrar. “We want to make sure visitors allow extra time to travel and use alternate routes to get to campus.”

MoDOT officials advise incoming visitors traveling northbound on U.S. 63 to take the AC/Grindstone exit rather than the Stadium exit to get to campus in order to avoid the one-lane traffic.
