UPDATE: MU Closes Campus for Monday, Feb. 16, Classes Canceled Hospital and Clinics, MU Recreation Complex, Student Center and Dining Services Remain Open

COLUMBIA, Mo. —Due to the winter weather, University of Missouri officials have announced full closure of the MU campus for Monday, Feb. 16, with all classes canceled. Only employees that are situationally critical should report for work.
All MU Health Care hospitals and outpatient clinics and the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital will remain open. For more information on MU Health Care, please visit http://www.muhealth.org/. The MU Student Center, Student Recreation Complex and Residential Hall dining facilities will remain open. Ellis Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with limited services; branch libraries will be closed.

“With the current road conditions, we are concerned about the safety of our faculty, staff and students,” said Gary Ward, vice chancellor for operations. “We’re very appreciative of our crews who have worked throughout the night. Having a full campus closure will allow us to properly prepare the campus for Tuesday.”
