CALENDAR ITEM: MU’s College of Engineering to Host Open House Introducing Women in Engineering Center

WHAT: The College of Engineering at MU is holding an open house to launch its new Women in Engineering Center.
An anonymous alumna made the gift establishing the Center that will work to attract more women to the profession and encourage and help students who come to MU to be successful engineers.
The open house will feature Kate Trauth, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and director of the Women in Engineering Center, and Bob Schwartz, interim dean of the College of Engineering, who will share the vision and goals of the center.
