AIG Chief Financial Officer and MU alum David Herzog will give public presentation on current economic situation

WHAT: David Herzog, executive vice president and chief financial officer of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), will give a presentation at the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business. Herzog will speak about the current economic situation.
WHO: Herzog received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from MU in 1982 and his masters in business administration in finance and economics from the University of Chicago. Herzog was appointed to his current position in October 2008.
Prior to joining AIG, Herzog was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Life Division of American General Corporation.
AIG received the largest government bailout of a private enterprise in U.S. history. Prior to the bailout, AIG was the 18th largest company in the world, with revenues of more than $29 billion and more than 116,000 employees.
