MU Hosts Lecture on President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize

WHAT: The public is invited to attend the lecture, “A Pacifist’s Critique of President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize,” presented by human rights and social justice advocate, Hedy Epstein. The lecture is hosted by the University of Missouri Peace Studies Program and the Center on Religion and the Professions.
A holocaust survivor, Epstein was sent by her parents to England on the Kindertransport in 1939 to escape Nazi forces, which later killed her parents. Today, she protests Israeli policy toward Gaza and other social justice causes.
