MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Host Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievements Forum

WHAT: More than 120 undergraduates will present their work at the Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievements Forum.
WHO: Students presenting their research at the forum come from more than 40 colleges and universities across the country. Projects include Bluetooth networking for Apple products, gene therapy for Muscular Dystrophy patients, and developing anti-viral SARS treatments.
Students received funding for their projects from the University of Missouri and grants from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Energy.
