Media Advisory: MU to Host the Sixth Annual Campus Gallery and Museum Crawl

WHAT: Attendees can experience a wide variety of exhibitions and activities in a walking tour of MU galleries and museums. Destinations of the crawl include the Craft Studio Gallery, George Caleb Bingham Gallery, Laws Observatory, Missouri Historic Costume & Textile Collection, Museum of Anthropology, Museum of Art and Archaeology, The Residence on Francis Quadrangle, and The State Historical Society of Missouri.
New to this year’s crawl, there will be live music throughout the evening at the Reynolds Journalism Institute amphitheater and around the Residence on the Francis Quadrangle.
Participants who visit all eight organizations and get their Crawl postcard stamped are eligible to win prizes including T-shirts, art posters, free do-it-yourself classes.
New at this year’s event, the Crawl will end in a party on the rooftop of Laws Observatory from 7-10 p.m., with live entertainment, drinks, and appetizers. Observatory staff will also conduct sky and observatory tours during the party.
