MEDIA ADVISORY: “Inside Alligators: Functional Anatomy and Evolution” to be Discussed at MU Saturday Morning Science Lecture

WHAT: This week’s Saturday Morning Science discussion at the University of Missouri features Casey Holliday, who will discuss “Inside Alligators: Functional Anatomy and Evolution.”

Holliday will dispel the myth that crocodilians are “living fossils” by discussing recent discoveries such as bird-like lungs, plant-eating species and many other revelations.

Saturday Morning Science is a weekly series of lectures on scientific topics. No science background is required to attend – just an interest in science and the topic.
