CALENDAR EVENT: Fans encouraged to wear black and gold to support MU

WHAT: MU fans everywhere are invited to wear black and gold to support the University of Missouri for the seventh annual College Colors Day. College Colors Day promotes the traditions and spirit of MU. Fans are encouraged to don Mizzou gear and plan a “black and gold” event, such as an office tailgate lunch or best-dressed fan contest.
There also will be an ice cream social and photo opportunity with Truman the Tiger in Tiger Plaza.

NOTE: College Colors Day coincides with the start of the fall semester and the kick-off of MU intercollegiate athletics. The event’s purpose is to advocate higher education through increased public awareness and to celebrate the achievements of colleges and universities.
