MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Journalism School Alumni to Speak at Reality Television Symposium

WHAT: The Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri will host a reality television symposium featuring four of America’s top reality television producers, all of which are Missouri School of Journalism graduates. These producers have developed programs including, “The Real World,” “Project Runway,” “America’s Most Wanted,” “House Hunters,” “Cake Boss,” and “Entertainment Tonight.”
The producers will discuss how journalism skills and techniques are critical to producing reality television. The event is free and open to the public.
WHO: Linda Bell Blue, producer of “Entertainment Tonight,” Jim Berger, producer of shows like “Cake Boss”, Lance Heflin, producer of “America’s Most Wanted,” and Jon Murray, producer of “The Real World” and “Project Runway.”
