MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Celebrates a Century of Coming Home

WHAT: The Mizzou Alumni Association invites the Columbia community to participate in the 100th Homecoming celebration this weekend. A new addition to the celebration this year is the alumni association’s inaugural Homecoming Headquarters, where visitors can pick up information, buy Homecoming merchandise, socialize with alumni and friends, and take hourly campus tours. Traditional Homecoming activities include Campus Decorations, a Mizzou Spirit Rally with Marching Mizzou and MU Spirit Squads, a free pancake breakfast, and the 100th anniversary Homecoming Parade.

Romp, Chomp and Stomp tailgate, Tiger Plaza. Tickets cost $10 for adults and admission is free for children 10 years and younger.
