MEDIA ADVISORY: MU School of Law Honors Veterans with Special Film Screening

WHAT: To honor veterans during the week of Veterans Day, the University of Missouri School of Law will host a special screening of the film, “The Hornet’s Nest,” which is a documentary featuring a current MU School of Law student’s combat unit in Afghanistan.
“The Hornet’s Nest” was created by Peabody and Emmy Award-winning conflict journalist Mike Boettcher and his son, Carlos, who documented their experience in Afghanistan while embedded with U.S. Forces fighting on the front lines. The filmmakers will hold a Q&A session immediately following the screening.
