MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Law School to Host Symposium on Environmental Law

WHAT: The University of Missouri School of Law and the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law housed at MU will host a symposium, “Environmental Law 4.0: Adaptive and Resilient,” that will feature experts in the field of environmental law. These experts will discuss the future of environmental law and how it applies to topics such as ecology, international environmental law and climate change. The keynote speaker, Craig Anthony “Tony” Arnold, associate dean for research and faculty development and the Boehl Chair in Property and Land Use at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, will discuss how environmental law can be adapted for communities and ecosystems.
The symposium is free and open to the public.

Melissa Berry, visiting associate professor of law at MU
Donald Kochan, professor of law, Chapman University
Sara Parker Pauley, director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and MU alumna, earning a bachelor’s degree and law degree from MU.
