MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Recognize Students, Faculty for Achievements in Diversity

WHAT: Officials from the University of Missouri Chancellor’s Diversity Initiative will award MU students, faculty and staff with the 2014 Inclusive Excellence Awards and the 2014 MU Faculty Achievement Awards in Diversity. These awards are given to individuals or groups who have made contributions to any area of diversity, including gender, racial-ethnic background, language, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability or economic status.

Noor Azizan-Gardner, MU chief diversity officer
