MEDIA ADVISORY: Elizabeth Smart to Speak at MU, Meet with Media

WHO & WHAT:
Elizabeth Smart, abduction survivor and New York Times bestselling author of, “My Story,” will discuss the kidnapping that altered her life and her efforts to advocate for abducted and missing children. Smart was abducted and held captive for nine months, during which time she was threatened, harassed and sexually assaulted.
Smart will be available to speak to reporters and hold a book signing before her evening discussion, which is part of the Delta Gamma Leadership in Values and Ethics in partnership with MSA/GPC Speakers Committee.
