CALENDAR ITEM: MU to Host Lecture on American Injustice and Making a Difference

WHAT: The University of Missouri School of Law and Honors College will host Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative and one of the most acclaimed and respected lawyers in the nation. He will present “American Injustice: Mercy, Humanity, and Making a Difference,” and will discuss his memoir, “Just Mercy,” the story of the struggle against injustice of one activist lawyer.

WHO: Stevenson is the recipient of numerous awards, including the MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Grant and the NAACP Image Award for Best Non-Fiction. In addition, he was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People for 2015.
