CALENDAR ITEM: ‘Selling Hope and Hate in the 2016 Election’ is 2016 Peace Perspectives Lecture

WHAT: The MU Peace Studies Department will present the Peace Perspectives Lecture, “Selling Hope and Hate in the 2016 Election.” Thomas Frank, best-selling author of nine books, will analyze the significance of the 2016 election and the social and cultural trends.                    

The lecture is sponsored, in part, by the Peace Studies Program; the Friends of Peace Studies; and the MU Departments of Sociology, Communication and Political Science. A question-and-answer period and a book signing will follow the discussion.
