Media Advisory: Transparency is Theme of Annual Governance Conference

WHAT: “Local Government Transparency: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” is the theme of the third annual Partners in Governance Conference. Geared toward local government officials and employees, this one-day conference will address the real world practice of transparency in a variety of local government contexts through a discussion of laws, rules, cases, best practices and actual experiences.
WHO: This event is open to the public. MU students are encouraged to attend at a discounted rate.
WHEN: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 12

NOTE: Tickets for this event are $75 for general public and $20 for students. Tickets include lunch and parking.
