MEDIA ADVISORY: MU College of Veterinary Medicine to Host Open House

WHAT: The University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine will host its annual open house on April 22. The event will feature a variety of activities, including police canine units; demonstrations by the Purina Pro Plan Performance Team dogs; and tours of the equine, food animal and small animal hospitals. Child friendly events include petting zoos, face painting, cow milking and a teddy bear surgery clinic.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to interact with current students, faculty and staff and will be provided advice on how to become a stronger applicant for the MU veterinary medicine program.

NOTE: This event is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
