MEDIA ADVISORY: ‘Mizzou Mile’ Run to Serve as Rallying Cry for the Entire Community
May 6th, 2017
WHAT: Celebrating diversity by bringing people together is the main goal of the first ‘Principles of Community’ Mile Run. Mizzou Athletics and the MU Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity are partnering to host this run, which they hope will serve as an entry point to greater dialogue and discussions between the many different students, faculty, staff and affiliates of the Mizzou community.

Following the race there will be food, post-race activities and awards presented to the first-, second- and third-place finishers in each age group, as well as the overall fastest male and female runner.
