MEDIA ADVISORY: Academic Retention Services Adopts New Name

WHAT: The University of Missouri’s Academic Retention Services will unveil a new name while reaffirming its commitment to student success and excellence.
WHO: Speakers include:
- Garnett Stokes, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
- Jim Spain, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and eLearning
- Donell Young, Academic Retention Services Director and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement and Success
- Noah Baez and Bobbi Watts, students

NOTE: Since its founding in 1995, Academic Retention Services has worked on behalf of the University of Missouri to promote the success of underrepresented students from the time they are accepted into MU through graduation.
