MEDIA ADVISORY: Chancellor celebrates first year at Mizzou with public address highlighting progress and new actions

WHAT: University of Missouri Chancellor Alexander Cartwright will celebrate his one-year anniversary with a public address, “University for Missouri: Where People Meet Possibilities.”

Cartwright will speak about the actions MU leaders are taking to better the university and the lives of Missouri citizens. Those actions will contribute to student affordability, boost research and the humanities, and help Mizzou better respond to the needs of the state.

An ice cream social catered by Buck’s Ice Cream will immediately follow the address.
