MEDIA ADVISORY: Mizzou hosts Undergraduate Visual Art and Design Showcase to highlight students’ creative work

WHAT: The Undergraduate Visual Art and Design Showcase displays the creative work of MU undergraduate students. The art will be shown in Jesse Hall and includes works of photography, graphic design, architectural design, video, floral design, 3D printing, sculpture and landscape design.
WHO: Brandan Odums will deliver the keynote address, Between We and Me: The responsibility of a contemporary artist. Odums uses public art to re-imagine spaces and bring communities together. His building-sized murals depict historical figures, sports icons and everyday people.
WHEN: The exhibit will be open for public viewing during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Monday, Feb. 11 to Friday, Feb. 15.
Odums’ keynote address will be on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Jesse Auditorium.
