About news feeds
News feeds allow you to keep up with all of your favorite news sites, such as the MU News Bureau, without having to visit each site individually. News feeds present the newest stories or headlines from each site, all in one location.
Most modern Web browsers have feed-reading software built in. If not, you typically can download an aggregator, which serves the same function. Some examples are Google Reader and Bloglines. For podcasts, you can use the aforementioned readers or iTunes.
