COLUMBIA, Mo. – With 1 to 4 inches of snow predicted on Sunday, MU officials are encouraging students and others planning to return to Columbia on Sunday to check the weather in their areas and review driving routes.

“We certainly hope that everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday and want them to return to campus safely,” said Gary Ward, vice chancellor for Operations and interim vice chancellor for Student Affairs. “If you’re planning to travel on Sunday, please check your local forecast and the forecast for your route back to campus.”

The residence halls were open on Friday for those returning for the football game and will remain open. In addition, the Southwest dining facilities will be open with limited hours through the weekend.
