MEDIA ADVISORY: MU Veterinary Health Center to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Large Animal Ambulatory Facility

WHAT: The University of Missouri’s Veterinary Health Center will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 21 to celebrate the completion of the Large Animal Ambulatory Facility. The Large Animal program strives to provide the highest standard of medical and surgical care to their patients and has served the area, state and region for nearly seven decades. The Ambulatory Services program provides care to food and fiber animals, horses and other equines on ranches and farms throughout mid-Missouri.
The facility was constructed using funds allocated from the Missouri Senate and House Agriculture Committee to expand the Large Animal Veterinary Medicine Program.
