WHAT: Missouri Technology Expo 2011
Faculty researchers, graduate students and entrepreneurs from throughout Missouri will demonstrate how technological advancements made by university researchers can be used to benefit society and create economic development.
Expo activities include panel discussions about technology commercialization and how inventors can obtain financial backing for their projects. Inventors also will have the opportunity to pitch ideas to prospective investors.
Former Sen. Kit Bond will give a keynote address about the importance of technology and the responsibility of academic and government institutions to advance technology.
