MEDIA ADVISORY: MU to Host Depression Screenings for Students

WHAT: The University of Missouri Counseling Center and Suicide Prevention Task Force will host a depression screening day for MU students. Both organizations will have computer stations at multiple locations on campus.
The online screenings will help determine a student’s level of depression and anxiety. Counseling Center staff will be on site to discuss the screening scores with students and what they can do to make their lives healthier.
The MU Counseling Center promotes the success and growth of individuals in the MU community while fostering personal, intellectual and psychological well-being.
