WHY: “We want to expand our online offerings so that students who might be unable to relocate to Columbia or have other limitations will still have the opportunity to obtain a Mizzou degree,” Spain said.
Currently, MU has five undergraduate degree programs and 61 graduate certificate and degree programs that are offered either in part or completely online. Current undergraduate programs include health sciences, respiratory therapy, radiography and the “RN to BSN” program for nurses. MU offers more than 600 courses online; students typically take these courses to satisfy a particular requirement in an on-campus degree program.
