Missouri College Advising Corps Hosts College Application Week Across the State

WHAT: The Missouri College Advising Corps (MCAC), which is located at the University of Missouri, is partnering with more than 25 Missouri high schools to celebrate “College Application Week.” Created to help students begin the college application process, MCAC representatives will assist students in completing their college applications by reviewing their application materials and finding suitable scholarships.

WHO: MCAC representatives and Missouri high school seniors

WHEN & Tuesday, Oct. 22 – Friday, Oct. 25

NOTES: Since March 2010, MCAC representatives have held more than 29,590 individual advising meetings with students and reached more than 30,000 Missouri students in group settings.  MCAC advisers have met with family members, helped with ACT preparation, held financial aid workshops, and helped students complete financial aid forms and scholarship applications.
