MEDIA ADVISORY: Mizzou Hosts International Career Exploration Summer Program

WHAT: Mizzou International Experiences (MIE) is a summer program for K-12 students around the world who participate in Mizzou K-12 school program. This year, Mizzou is hosting 130 high school students from around the world, including 111 students from Brazil and five students from South Korea. The two-week program is based on career exploration and development. Students will enjoy field trips around the state, attend lectures and visit several Mizzou departments to learn more about career options in a variety of fields. Students will present on their experiences during a final showcase.
WHO: The summer program is sponsored by Mizzou College of Education, University of Missouri High School, Mizzou K-12 Online.
WHEN
& WHERE: Media are invited to attend two events toward the end of the camp. The first event is when the students will volunteer at the local food bank.
