MEDIA ADVISORY: College of Education hosting multicultural education author

WHAT: The College of Education is hosting Christine Sleeter, author of The Inheritance: Returning What was Stolen, for a speech and book signing. Sleeter will share her journey with her own family history and discuss the repatriation of land to indigenous peoples.

WHO:  Sleeter is a professor in the College of Professional Studies at California
State University Monterey Bay. Her research focuses on multicultural education, ethnic studies and teacher education.
